Hilo Cruise Ship Excursions, Volcano Tours From Hilo Hawaii. Tour the Big Island with us. Small groups to the Volcano and Falls.

Hilo Hawaii Excursions to the Volcano, Tours for Cruise Ship passengers - Pickup inside Hilo Hawaii cruise port.

We are a very short walk from your ship.  As a family owned and operated company you will have Gil or Tina as your guide.  See More with our Small Group Tours where we take a maximum of 10 guests in the vehicle. We do offer private tours for those that would like the vehicle to themselves.  See below.

Our tours include bottled water, local pineapple and chocolate covered macadamia nuts to enjoy while on the tour.  Also a welcome flower for the ladies.

This Big Island Volcano Tour is a 6 hour tour that takes in the Volcano Park plus many other locations listed below. We will take one of our comfortable vehicles.

After we pick you up at the ship, we take you right up to the Volcano National Park to beat the crowds and see more of the Volcano sights than many other tour companies.  Plus we walk with you at each stop to explain the volcano formations.

  1. While in the Volcano Park we will stop at the following:
    1. Thurston Lava Tube where we will walk into a rainforest and into a smaller crater.  At the back of the crater we will enter the 500 year old lava tube and be underground for 800 feet!
    2. 1974 Lava flow where you can walk out on a past lava flow. We will see some of the different formations including Tree Molds, Ramparts and more
    3. Puhimau Crater - The deepest crater in the park and also referred to as the Echo Crater
    4. Kilauea Iki is our next stop. The location of a 1959 eruption that sent lava up 1900 feet and filled in an existing crater with over 350 feet of new lava
    5. Kilauea Caldera and Jagger Museum. Here we will see the smoke rise from the crater and view the main caldera along with a walk through the Jagger Museum.
    6. Steam Vents We will stop and you can walk right up to one and feel the heat. We will walk to the crater rim which is where the steam bluff is and where a 400 foot drop off to the Kilauea Caldera offering another great view of the volcanoes main caldera.
  2. Macadamia farm - where you can try samples and have some macadamia ice cream. They also have sandwiches for those that would like to purchase something to eat.
  3. Rainbow Falls - Just up from Hilo we will view a 90 foot waterfall with a giant lava tube underneath the waterfalls.
  4. Banyan Drive - Drive by the Hilo Bay on our way to Banyan Drive where we will see some very old Banyan trees.
  5. Liliuokalani Garden - where we will see a beautiful park
  6. By request - Akatsuka Orchid farm. They charge 5.00 per person to walk through their orchid maze. (Please let us know when booking)
